About us.
The Vocal Union Chorus is devoted to developing a quality performing chorus through dedication and commitment from its members. In order to accomplish this goal, members are expected to follow certain guidelines.
Monthly rehearsals allow members to minimize infringing personal and professional lives while gaining the benefits of singing in a quality organization. The key is the time spent in between those rehearsals.
Member Expectations

Show up
Attend all rehearsals on time and fully prepared. We currently rehearse the first Wednesday of every month from 7 to 10pm.

Practice at home
Learn the music between rehearsals. Music and quality learning tracks are included. Members have several months to completely learn music, depending on its complexity.

Join SPPBSQSUS
Members must belong to SPPBSQSUS before any music or learning tracks can be issued.

Progress check
Individual progress checks will be conducted periodically as needed. The goal is to ensure that musical standards are being maintained.

Be consistent
Members are allowed to miss a maximum of 2 rehearsals annually, unless an emergency prevents attending.

Show up (some more)
There will eventually come a time when extra rehearsals will be required, such as in preparation for a performance or show. You will be notified of these in advance.
